X-Fit Run Crew Sock
I actually got these higher profile socks to wear with hiking boots, and they are perfect - lightweight and cool but still providing the foot and ankle protection against chafing I was looking for. I have over a dozen pairs of the lower profile run sock that I'm very happy with, and these crew socks are every bit as comfortable.
