Excellent fitted shorts
I use these shorts for indoor cycling and exercise. They fit well and the material is very comfortable.

did what I wanted
Was looking for a short that would hold my iPhone. Took a 60 minute stationary bike workout and the phone did not seem to move at all. Then did some leg exercise machines and it was fine. Have not tried it yet for running. Gives a slight amount of compression. Only negative is that I can feel the tag in the back and will have to cut it off. Would like it to come in a lighter color for working out in the summer.
A little disapointed
Ordered these hoping they would be similar to an older pair from SportHill. I ordered a medium, which is my normal size, and the openings were definitely loose on the bottom (they seem like they would not grip at all and ride up). The material was also pretty thin so not sure I’d wear for lower temperatures. These definitely felt much lower quality than my previous older pair, which had a side pocket and fit much better unfortunately. SportHill is typically great quality, so maybe these just need to be retooled.
Seam in the rear
This is my 3rd pair of these shorts and they are better than anything else on the market. However, the seam in the rear splits open befor the shorts wear out. Now, I do a lot of sit ups and stretching on my back. Can you do something to re-in force that seam?

Pretty darn nice
The material is very comfortable, with just a little less compression than what I'd prefer, but adequate. I get it that the no-chafe design hinges on the minimal features, but it could be improved by adding some leg grippers and a little loop to hang a key.
Quality
I haven't ordered from Sporthill in many years.. I ordered the mens size since the womens inseam seemed a little too short for my liking and the fit is as expected. Very happy with the shorts and next time I won't wait so long to order again.Thanks!

men's ultra RX short
Comfy and durable. A tinge looser fit than I like. Also, prefer a strung waist band, as opposed to the "underwear" elastic waistband look. Probably a generation thing!
