I am 34x34. Large Long fits perfect Just got them and used them once on an overnighter in a snowstorm to a camp at 11,400 feet. Super nice. Forgot gaiters so the long leg length and little zippers at the bottom kept most of the snow out. Plenty warm but only high twenties
I like Sport Hill for its Tall fits. While waiting to XC skiing last week I wore the pants for trail running during a cold snap. They were comfortable, flexible and warm.
They are great for the New England winter running. The legging is a little tight for me, but it works fine. The quality of the SportHill products was great in these pants.
Been searching for a XC ski pants that fit for 2 years now to replace my very worn out Craft XC pants that did well for over 20 years. But every one I tried on - Swix, Dahle, Craft - was at least six inches too long in the leg. Even tried women's pants, same thing!. A kindly retailer told me Sporthill makes them in different lengths. Hallelujah. Found my size 32-33, and even one with color - the sodalite blue. Great fit, stretch and windproofing. Happy customer. Now if only the East would get some decent snow...
Love these pants except the zipper broke after about a year of use, bought another pair and the same thing happened. Except for the weak zipper, a great pant. Editor's note: Two broken zippers in a row is highly unusual. In general the zippers on the Super XC pant have been very reliable. We are reaching out to this customer to learn more.
My second pair because I always went for my first pair (ahead of my other pants) when preparing to go ski. Now I almost always have a clean pair. Super comfortable and just the right warmth.
I've always appreciated the quality of SportHill's Zone 3 clothing, including various iterations of their warmest, high-performance pants. I have noticed some significant improvements in this version of the Super XC Pant. For example, is is very light, stretchy, and form-fitting; making it ideal for xc skiing, jogging, and winter biking. Combined with its strong wind-blocking. moisture-wicking, and insulating properties, it's the best pair of winter sports pants that I own, and highly recommended.
I do winter cycling (fat studded tires) on snow/ice covered carriage roads in Acadia National Park in Maine and needed slim fitting, lightweight pants that were thick enough to ward off the cold winds and roomy enough to allow an insulating layer underneath (eg, wool long underwear or bike tights with cushioned seat). These fit the bill perfectly and keep me warm in conditions down into the single digits, with the "double-articulated" knee construction allowing for unencumbered pedaling. Highly recommended for fat tire biking in the cold and snow!
